Coach Tiger has been running the program at Ridgefield HS since 2003. Since taking the helm the Tigers have enjoyed continued growth and success and recently enjoyed their first ever multiple Class Champs and first ever CT State Open Champions. Prior to joining the Tiger program at RHS Coach Tiger helped to develop and coach the Ridgefield Raptor feeder program. 

Coach Lopes had a very succesful wrestling career at powerhouse Danbury HS where he still holds many takedown and scoring records for the Hatters. Coach Lopes also remains the 2nd leading takedown man in CT wrestling history. After his career at Danbury HS, Ricardo went on to be a pre-season All-American at Sacred Heart University. Coach Lopes is also a National team coach for team CT.

Frank is a 3x FCIAC Champion, 3x State LL Champion, 2x CT State Open Champion and 2x New England runner-up. Frank has been a member of Team CT for the past 3 years and will be wrestling at Bridgewater College in the fall of 2006

Leo compiled a 111-3 record at Danbury HS and was the 1997 CT Wrestler of the Year. Leo went on to compete at both SCSU and Sacred Heart. Leo also has been involved with Judo since a very early age. Leo was also the 1997 Judo Athlete of the Year. Since college Leo has been teaching Judo and training for a spot on the 2008 Olympic Judo team. Leo will be instructing our members on how to use Judo for success in wrestling.
